I wouldn’t classify that as bitching. They’re just stating their situation. I’m in a similar situation, and we made choices that affect our finaces (such as my wife staying home and homeschooling our kids). Sometimes we have to let people know our situation and for them to understand that yes, we have inconveniences, but we are making these sacrifices willingly. Also I bet there are plenty of truck drivers in the russian army that make a whole lot more than that father. I know people that make 3 times as much as I do, just because of the people they tend to associate with. There IS a bias against large families these days. I personally would be more inclined to send them a donation than to judge them.

They don’t have anything to eat but bread and beetroot soup, Can’t afford toys, have only old clothes to wear. It sounded like bitching to me. Maybe I am cynical of how the system works here in the USA, more kids=more money from the taxpayers. I have no problem with large families. I do have a problem with people that have large families and expect me and the rest of the tax payers to foot the bill.

Based on what? I’ll take the bet though since the guy is a truck driver in the military. A military that still has compulsory service. I am surprised he makes as much as he does.
