Perhaps so, but he is observing the reactions of the Left, which dependably reveal their utter shallowness.

I really don’t think this article is about the disaster response itself, just about how they’re dealing with the political fallout. Hurricane Katrina was a disaster for the White House because they let the opposition set the agenda while this time the WH is pre-empting criticism.
