Rickles was my all time favorite comedian. My wife absolutely detested him. She said he was so rude and could not understand how anybody could think him funny. No amount of explaining that it was all an act ever got her to change her mind. She was raised in the South in the mid 40’s to early 50’s before moving North and would rather die then ever be rude to anybody.

When Nissan had a human voice prompt that said “your door is open” Car and Driver magazine called it a Jewish Mother Option.

I laughed....it was funny. A few letters to the Editor didn’t think it was funny.
