“But...this has probably already been ruled IT’S NOT AN ACT OF TERRORISM.”

Why would we call a terrorist what he is? The entire media is already priming us with “Al Queda Associates in New Jersy” as headlines. So now someone associated with AQ goes from a terrorist to a mere associate...and guess what the determining factor was? The fact he was ON US SOIL. Wake the #$#@ up people. Illigal immigrants are merely migrants. People who yell Allah Akbar two times before being pumped full of lead in the Northwest by officers is merely a disgruntled youth who just happened to be muslim. Ok, I’ll stop there for now. Just damn (lmao) :)

In this case my first thoughts would have went to an ex-fireman or two whose careers took a sudden downward spriral, if the so-called expertise is truely representative of what happened. Genious to some is ignorance to others (lol).

Thanks for the ping.

And while I’m bitching on that subject, the courts just annointed that very line of reasoning with their mis-trials yesteray. Idiots...the lot of them!

Very plausible and has occurred in a few cases in the past. This event however was unique. Very strong Santa Ana winds were blowing as these fires were set or broke out. These particular winds were the strongest we have had here in a very long time. Sunday night it felt as if my roof was going to blow off for about 5-6 of the peak gusts. Fireman (or exFireman) would be knowledgeable enough to realize that setting a fire in those winds would be very dangerous and completely uncontrollable (as we have seen from the damages). Luckily the winds have mostly stopped tonight, so there may be possibilities for some mischief, but those will probably be fireman setting backfires. Having stated all that however, I would not be surprised to learn that a couple of those new fires that appeared close to existing fires may have been backfires that got out of control. Intent however was good.
