Left, Right, Wrong

LOS ANGELES —

The other day, liberal talk radio host Randi Rhodes was reportedly out walking her dog when she fell and hit her head. She didn’t remember what happened, which led at least one of her colleagues, and countless bloggers, to speculate that she had literally been a victim of the Right-wing hit machine.

Not so, as it turned out. No one hit her, Right wing or otherwise. She fell. The colleague who had ranted about the Right attacking her apologized and took it all back.

End of story? Not quite. The next day, I appeared on Hannity and Colmes to discuss it all. Wasn’t this another instance of the Left-wing hate machine in action, trying to silence talk radio hosts of the Right, seeing violence when there was none, and spewing their own version of it?

The reason there are relatively few lib talk shows is simply because there are no sponsors for them

There is no audience, therefore there is little sponsorship. Commercial free left wing radio thrives on tax sponsorship and charitable contribution.

The national left-dial programs rarely take calls on the air either so good luck challenging the hosts/guests. All Things Considered From Our Perspective.

The MSM was absolutely quiet about the national trend in 2004 of DNC Brownshirts spraypainting swastikas on the campaign signs and homes and cars of Bush-Cheney supporters.

This is a shrill wind.

Okay, just look back on the last couple of weeks, there have at least four smear attacks on the right:

1. The smear on Rush is very well known and unique in that 41 Democrat Senators signed a letter to pressure Rush's network and repeated the smear.

2. O'Reilly was attacked on a bogus racism charge.

3. Randi Rhodes and friends falsely accused the Right of mugging her.

4. George Washington University lefties put together a hate poster and accused the Young America Foundation of putting out the poster.

And this list is by no means complete. I cannot think of a comparable smear by the right.

RE: "DNC Brownshirts spraypainting swastikas on the campaign signs and homes and cars of Bush-Cheney supporters."

.. while slashing the tires of vehicles to be used to transport elderly legal voters to the polls the next day.

Yes, all too common and of course loudly protesting that the Right is doing it to them.

Defensive projection is the process of perceiving one's undesirable qualities in others.

But what if those qualities are not undesirable to the projector; in fact they are a means to an end -- but the qualities are undesirable to society.

Is there an "offensive projection?" Or perhaps an "issues projection" because, as David Horowitz stated, "the issue is not the issue." Issues are weapons.

Here the Left maligns the Right for violence (and voter fraud) while in fact it's the Left doing (probably) 99% of it. So keep doing it and bonus! have everyone believe that you are the victim and the Right is the aggressor. It's what they do.

Your comment proves Estrich correct. Why must every woman who doesn’t look like Katherine Zeta Jones be slammed as ugly on this board? I thought conservative men were supposed to be gentlemen, with some standard of decency and good manners.

Joy,

This ain't ugly?

“I thought conservative men were supposed to be gentlemen, with some standard of decency and good manners.”

Not when it comes to politics/somebody advocating the deterioration of your lively hood.

No quarter should be given to anyone, especially some chick getting plastic "repairs" done to her body so she could think looking like Katherine Zeta Jones is within reach.

No matter what she looks like on the outside SE is an ugly person, period. That is why left wing women are held up on this site to be ugly, because their souls ARE ugly and NO, Old Seadog didn't prove her point. Her point being that the right is as bad as the left when it comes to hating simply because someone has different ideas. This woman, and others like her, lie in order to discredit individual freedom and to make slaves of us all. If you think such a person is beautiful I feel sorry for you.
