I’ll forget all the votes in favor of pro life and ignore the fact he was an attoney do his job.

I think that was the SS's excuse "just doing my job!" Character takes a stand. Congressmen and Senators stand for what ever will get them elected. I think one's personal life reflects one's real position, beliefs and backbone much more clearly .

You obviously don’t understand the practice of law and the obligations of lawyers to their clients.

It is a different animal than being a Congressman or Senator
