The looting problem is being understated. Many reports of looting in the evacuated areas as well as vehicles loaded with a family’s most prized and valuable possessions. Keep as vigilant as possible and if you are evacuated, do not leave your valuables in you vehicle.

Wondered about that . . .

It would be possible to . . . set fires . . . with . . . accomplices positioned to take advantage of such . . . without too much trouble.

F****** jackasses. Looting to me is the most vile class of larceny, because it kicks people when they’re down, taking advantage of those most vulnerable.

They probably just tell themselves “well, it was gonna burn anyway!”

At least looting will very likely be covered by insurance...
