KOGO radio is giving ongoing and first hand reports on the San Diego fires, one person who lost their home and while leaving in his RV was also on fire and pulled out of the RV
About 15 minutes ago, I was looking out my study window and noticed it was very hazy. Went outside and could see smoky skies to the north east of our home (Tustin Foothills)—which is the direction from which we usually see fires heading in our direction. It appears what I was seeing is from the Fontana/Devore area. The winds around here have been fierce.
What’s happening in Malibu is far worse. Very sad for everyone living there. In our case, we’ll take the smoke but would just as soon pass on the flames.
What a day. And I just saw someone on TV saying that the general weather conditions could last as long as Thursday. Lets hope not.
