Are you okay? Any word yet on your home?
Thanks for asking.
Nothing concrete on my home. Roof lines in part of the condo area were seen many many hours ago (a good sign, obviously). Then flames were on the hill in front of it a few hours after that. And no news since. I’m more hopeful than I was 12 hours ago, but still not overly optimistic. Especially b/c things are still changing drastically and what was safe an hour ago is suddenly engulfed minutes later as things have been going. Honestly, even if I hear tomorrow it’s standing, I won’t ::really:: rejoice until later in the week when the winds calm down.
But I, and my family and friends, are all safe. We’ve had A LOT of losses of homes and things...but that’s just stuff. The people are all safe! Praise God!
Now that I read this I might have misunderstood and this might be where she used to live.

My old street our old house is the only one standing...and then dozens gone. Its hit or miss. Its so surreal watching this and knowing people on every street named. Im sitting here with the church directory comparing addresses b/c I literally know a person per street listed on the lists or said.
