Here in San Diego County the Cedar Fire in 2003 burned about 280,000 acres.

The one this year in Utah burned about 360,000 acres.

In 1988, the Yellowstone NP fire burned almost 800,000.

Maybe not the largest, but a good bet this one might be one of the most expensive.

Thanks for info. I sure remember the Cedar Fire... This reminds me so much of that. This year in total may be worse than that, don’t know...
