Move On is a PAC. Media Matter claims to be a non-partisan 501c3.
MoveOn.org most definitely is partisan. They cannot take foreign contributions (and have been caught doing so in the last election). The amount of donations they can receive are capped too.
I stand corrected.
Here’s my concern...congress drafted a resolution condemning Move-On.org for its “General Betray Us” ad in the NY Times. So Move-On is a Political action committee.
Now I’m pretty sure Rush could file a grievance cause he is a private citizen and his congress did the ONE thing our founding fathers never wanted our government to do.
My question is....did congress also do a bad thing when they condemned the General Betray Us ad by Move-On.org.
Understand I’m not making a value judgement here. Move-on really did take out an ad; no one lied about what they said. Still, even the Moonbats have free speech in this country. While Rush was lied about by congress.
Are each of these congressional condemnations equal in weight in terms of their constitutional illegality?
