Not so. Exactly what he is doing here is the perfect way to "thumb his nose" at them...especially if he has pledged to match the winning bid. I say "touche".

Not so...by donating to this foundation of his choice...especially one that benefits the military families...is a masterful maneuver. My favorite is the challenge to the 41 senators individually to match the winning bid, to show their support for the troops. Bwahahahahahaha...maybe Rove was behind this too. The bidding will get very serious now that the closing day is approaching.

The publicity alone is worth the 100K.

That said, some bureaucratic loser is probably going to file a lawsuit considering this some sort of "illegal campaign contribution".
