You're strategy has failed EVERY time it has been tried. Liberal Republicans like Christie Todd Whitman and Arnold Schwarzenegger ARE the greater of two evils.

Would you like to tell us how Arnold Schwarzenegger has been better than a Democrat in California, especially given that his election has blocked any chance even moderate conservative has of taking office for EIGHT years?

And, NO, I'm not giving up a chance to put a conservative in the White in 2012 by voting for Giuliani. Nor am I going to throw away any chance a Republican majority in Congress, perhaps as soon as 2010, by putting a liberal like Giuliani in the White House.

Giuliani will do infinitely more damage to conservatism than Hillary Clinton.
