My sister and her husband moved from San Diego County two years ago and they left one of their dogs, a border collie mix, with one of their neighbors.
I hope the dog is ok.

Border collie mix? I'd say it will probably be OK, as it is apt to herd the fire.
Talked to my dad, it's kinda smoky where they are, but no cause to panic just yet. Still, I worry, he's legally blind and weak from a recent heart attack.
And if mom has to drive them out?
Well, being in the car with her driving is enough to stop my heart!

“But what will hillary eat!?”
Do they make vampire bat food?

Pedigree says that none of its foods have ever been involved in the recalls. I feel my dog Science Diet now, but I’m thinking of switching. These companies ought to know the source of the raw materials that go into their foods and keep checking them to be certain they are what they are supposed to be. It’s ridiculous for these companies to charge extra for “premium” products when they are made from some cheap crap from overseas.

And a lot of organic food comes from China. From what I understand all it takes to get food classified as organic in China is a little paper shuffling.

That’s a big ugly secret we all found out about dog food since these recalls. The “premium” stuff basically comes out of the same vat as the cheap stuff.

OTOH, French fries from a McDonalds bag taste better than the exact same fries from a plain brown bag.
