I manage with a XD-45 compact most of the time.

Of course, with certain clothing I also use a Kel-Tec P-11, an SW 637 J-Frame, and a Kel-Tec P3AT. Just depends. ;)

I've heard good things about the P345 too. Ruger has a good reputation. I just don't care for the way they look (Except for their wheel guns. Those are fine).

Have you been happy with it? I've seen nothing but good reviews, and that's probably my next weapon, but I'm leaning toward the 4" or even 5". The other one that tempts me is the CZ, because you can swap it back and forth between .45 and .22, but the conversion kit is awfully pricey.

I haven't fired an XD yet, but I've held one, and it's remarkably compact for 13+1 rounds of .45 ACP. I have pretty small hands, and a 1911 always felt a bit clunky in my hands, but I'm comfortable with the grip on the XD.
