My Christian friends, of which I have many from a variety of denominations, from Presbyterian to LDS, respect my religion enough to NEVER try to convert me, as I would NEVER try to convert them.

Well, historically speaking Jews were great evangelists up until the Romans told them it was either stop evangelizing or they cut heads off. But Christians evangelize, a simple no thanks I have my own faith is probably a better answer than the outrage you project.
