It’s probably just an accident. If someone was going to do something like this as an attack, they’d do it during rush hour. But still, I’m going to stay up for a few more minutes.

I was thinking that if this could happen at a “good time”, 11 pm is sure a lot better than 5 pm. (But not as good as 3 am).
Some self righteous islamic loonie wouldn’t care how many people he takes with him, even one in his mind would ensure paradise.
The bigger thing would be to take down the bridge with all the economic loss and turmoil that the collapse would cause.
A direct attack against any PART of the US would be an attack in his jihad against ‘the great satan’. Any civilians killed would just be extra gravy so to speak.
