Politics aside, what is a piece of paper with 41 Sitting US Senators autographs / signatures worth... This is a piece of history

Are you kidding? The senate turns out truckloads of ridiculous nonsense with their signatures on it on a daily basis.

I think that what makes the letter historic is that the power of the Senate was used by Dingy Harry and the rest of his repugnant cohorts, to try to intimidate and silence a private citizen (and by "private", I mean not an elected or appointed official of any government). It's an absolute outrage, violation of the 1st Amendment, abuse of Senatorial powers, etc.

Their attack on Rush is just another example of the absolute stupidity of these dem senators. They're too stupid to have known that Rush would crush them like the miserable little bugs that they are.

True... My comment was “politics aside”... From a political prospective I couldn’t agree with you more... This letter makes every one of the senators that signed it look pretty bad... but the beauty of this auction is Rush has so effectively defended the “phony soldier” comment attributed to him AND he is giving all the proceeds to the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation (not too be confused with the phony soldiers)...
