More likely the NASCAR fans would need shots if mingling with 'Rats...
the media's reaction if a Republican staff were told to get immunized before they attended, oh, let's say, a HIP-HOP or RAP MUSIC festival?!?
Wow, the drive-bys would be SHOUTING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS!
I've attended many races in years prior to '95 or so and nearly everyone sitting around us smoked cigarettes.
Fine, made sense to us even if we were nonsmokers since RJ Reynolds sponsored the entire venue and these were RJR's customers coming to see a RJR sponsored event.
*Then* the 'Rats attacked, "Big Tobacco" in the 90s.
First it was, "Joe Camel" then, "Skoal" and it wasn't too long after the WHOLE focus was on NAZZZZZCAR's main sponsor, RJR.
Keep in mind if not for RJR providing a pretty attractive & generous prize for the champion --year-after-year for what, 25 years?-- NAZZZZCAR would never have achieved the success they did, no way.
RJR's reward for their loyalty to NAZZZZZZCAR all those years?
Thrown right under the proverbial bus by the none other than the cowardly France & Co. folks.
And where were the fans (VOTERS, no less) during the entire gang bang, eh?
Nope, there'll be no repercussions for this or any other 'Rat for any attack/smear/slander of NAZZZZZCAR.
...& least of all from NAZZZZZZCAR's *fans*. ;^)
When the Democrats come, it’s time to put on your gas masks!
Democrats ARE the disease!
And yet they will wade into a gay pride parade with ear to ear smiles....what a bunch of idiots!
I honestly don’t understand the furor over some folks getting immunizing shots.
These desk jockeys are constantly in an insular, sterile environment where the number of active infectious agents is quite limited.
To suddenly drop them unprepared into an area where they will be exposed to pathogens their immune systems have no protection against is ridiculous and irresponsible.
I spent a couple of weeks on the high prairie last month. When I came home, there was a new flu bug running around, and I caught it. Had I not left here, or stayed there I would have been less likely to catch it because I would have been more gradually exposed.
This whole thing is smoke and mirrors, distracting us from REAL issues. To get bent out of shape over someone taking reasonable precautions is childish and provincial.
Large crowds ARE disease pools, like it or not. This applies to concerts, movies AND NASCAR events.
I think his comments are outright racist.
I've been going to Talladega for years, and never seen this type of area.
Don’t worry. Those dimwits who took the shots are going to be so sick from the effects of the shots; they are going to worry about much else. LOL
