“Jewish people do not consider Jesus to be king of anything. He was the son of Mary and Joseph. His beliefs were those of a good man trying to help mankind.”

I’m curious (seriously). Do Jewish people believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead? Do they believe it really took place historically?

I do not want to offend any of my Christain FRiends, but, since you asked, Jews believe that Jesus died on the cross but do not believe that he rose from the dead.
