I take no offense in what you have said, nor for that matter in what Ann Coulter said. I do think that she could have phrased it in a less inflamatory way that would be less likely to be used as a leftist Christian hating sound bite. But she aims to be out there. That is her ‘brand.’
I find the term “Talmudic Jew” a pejorative dig. The Talmud is the discussion by learned Rabbis of the Oral part of the Old Testament spoken to Moses at Sinai. Conservative and Orthodox Jews consider the Talmud as part and parcel of the Old Testament, ie divinely inspired.

You have drawn an unjustified conclusion from your google search. Talmudic or Rabbinic Judaism is the term used in contrast to the Judaism that practiced Temple centered worship. Temple worship came to an end when the Romans burnt down the Temple at Jerusalem in the year 78.
There is no pejorative.
