You mean the same Turks who wouldn't allow us to off-load and transit a division of our troops to Northern Iraq at the beginning of the war in 2003? How many of our soldiers lost their lives because of that?
I've got a lot of admiration for the Turks - they were steadfast allies against the Russkies during the Cold War, and their contingent of troops in Korea was one of the toughest outfits there. However,...
...the Turks need to get over it - they aren't to blame for what their great grandfathers did 90 years ago. It'd just be nice if they could say "hey, that was wrong, and we are sorry that it happened." No one is talking about reparations.
