Unfortunately, another school I got a degree from that has since become a bastion for left wing meat head dingbats that would starve if the had to get a real job. Like Penn State, I get bombarded by news of their hollow glories of academic awards of no importance and of no benefit to people in the real world.

As Krautheimer recently said, universities have long since ceased being think tanks and are only bastions for those who think like the left.

My own personal view is that universities like GWU and PSU are on their way out. They seem to have little to contribute other than leftist propaganda and useless lawyers (like we need more of them). It appears that tech schools that teach people how to do things and make a living are becoming the new centers of thinking in our society. That’s what universities used to be before they went to crap.

I truly dislike what universities have become. I was looking forward to my own children continuing a family tradition but the alma matter has gone so far left as to render any former pride in the university as meaningless.
