Ahhh but it is....Maybe they just forgot to mention that they were commercial landlords. I'm sure they claim the rent on their IRS 1040 Schedule C along with a healthy depreciation to offset the income. But it's income none the less and buildings hardly ever actually depreciate.
I suspect you are right. That is why I said if they want to be believed, then they need to release their IRS filings.
