Good article- from this morning’s MSM reaction to Fred’s performance on the debate you’d think he had been standing there picking his nose.

I think this means that reality is exactly the opposite of what is being reported and the MSM is afraid of Fred’s potential.

Tis true, but the point of the original question to Bush was to try to make him look ill-prepared to be President. I think that’s what ‘Christoper’ was trying to do to Fred yesterday, and it fell flat. Maybe Matthews has bought into the notion that Fred is just an ‘actor’ so he can’t possibly have any knowledge of what’s going on in the real world.

He apparently did not think Thompson is as smart as Bush. The question directed to Bush involved an obscure Asian dictator. He chose our closest ally for Thompson. Or maybe it’s just that the earlier question to Bush lost it’s punch because Musharraf was at that time so obscure. Clearly the question directed at Bush did not have the intended effect.

We had to determine the group against which war would be declared. I think it's wise for a President to give the response some intelligent thought rather than flying off the handle, don't you?

I do. Like getting the required declaration of war. Not an open-ended resolution that can mean anything, a declaration of war. But that's not the 'conservative' thing to do these days apparently..

At least the Suit voiced the real 'conservative' opinion. To heck with the legislative branch or the Constitution, the executive branch can do whatever it wants. As long as the 'right' party is in control

Yeah, really ...

And Rudy rehearsed his lines
And Mitt memorized his.

I wonder what the writer thinks candidates do before a debate? Might want to make some of their points, no really, they might.

so what ...
