Really? THAT answer will bite Fred? Sounds like wishful thinking.
Even if he had contradicted himself - which, as I pointed out, he didn’t do ... its such a convoluted contradiction, requiring such parsing of the statements that I doubt anyone’s even going to catch it. And, even if they do catch it, it’s hardly a bombshell.
They’ll ask Fred to explain the contradiction, and he’ll say - “that isn’t a contradiction, but we certainly need to elect strong conservative leadership to ensure that a peaking of oil prices doesn’t have the same effect its had in the past.”
Its a non-issue.
