I believe he had winning answers every time they came to him. THAT was the problem. It's so difficult to be thought of as the top tier, when you're not labeled as such to being with, then...it's like you're playing a sport and the ball only comes to you once in a while and every time you get a chance to play, you have to hit it out of the park or no one notices.
