Well yeah, because they know the GOP Base will not VOTE or support him. They know a McCain nomination would hand Hillary the Oval Office.
The media tries to force either Rudy or McCain on us. McCain did not do a great job. The media pushing for those two in hopes of get them elected - Rudy because he is like a Democrat and McCain because he is sure to lose. While the media is gushing over Rudy, they will dump him when he faces Hillary.
