Gosh, that means that everytime anyone buys a good or service today they're paying taxes because the tax is "embedded" in the price.

Under the Fair Tax, everytime anyone buys a good or service they're paying taxes but it's a separate line item and can be easily avoided.

If 25% of the total price is tax costs already paid it sorta makes you wonder how 50% off or even 25% off sales are possible.

That would be corporate taxes. Many still don’t pay individual taxes, which the Fair Tax would correct.
