Nah....Ahi are yellow fin tuna. Save the belly and the skeleton for broth, Toss the skin and fins.

While I was in Michigan for my niece's wedding, my younger brother caught a decent size channel cat off the back of the boat while we were guzzling beer.. We nailed it to a cleaning board and stripped its hide off and got two two pound fillets for dinner.

The roadside fish are small fry. A ten minute walk over to Suisan fish market at 5 am , you can see 100 to 300 pounders on the block for the local markets.

Catfish are murder to dismantle. I had an electrician boyfriend a few years back, he and my brother caught a 20Lb yellow cat (ugly fish!) on a drop line and we had to use every tool out of the box - saws-all (take head off), pliers (peel skin off), linesmen/dykes (clip fins, dorsal off).

You never saw so much fried fish in one place. He was about this big:
