Hell, we aren't doing nearly enough (plus we're 20 years late to the task!) which is precisely why REAL conservatives are pi**ed at Bush, Congress, the Courts, and are looking for blood!

The weenies hoping to run for reelection better wake up lest they find themselves spending "more time with their families" instead of taking bribes from the U.S. Chambers of Commerce, for more illegals to "do the jobs ordinary Americans won't do."

Some years ago I worked with a guy who thought the government was complicit in the drug trade, in terms of making money on such transactions as confiscation of tons of cash when arrests are made. He thought it went further than that, but at the time I thought he was crazy.

Now? Recently in my town, the PD bought a number of new police cars outfitted with all the “gee whiz” tools that you get these days. Combined with the obvious power of the chambers of commerce across America demanding cheap labor, one has to wonder why after all this time the government has steadfastly refused to secure the border, even to the point of putting Border Patrol agents in prison for basically doing their job. What can we do about these damned crooked politicians when constituents keep sending the same crooks back to DC?

Three things I’d love to see but I know will never happen in my lifetime, if ever: First, term limits for congress critters; second, do away with lifetime appointments for federal judges (make ‘em all run for office, and - what the hell - term limits for them, too); third, a law that states unequivocally that any bill MUST pass Constitutional muster before it even goes to the floor of either house. Further, it should disallow any tampering once out of committee and be voted on as is with no add-on trickery as they like to do.

Career congress critters are destroying this country, and prime examples are Kennedy, Durbin, and Reid, the Three Stooges of the Senate.

OK, that’s my rambling rant for the day.
