Just an obvious comment on the effects of welfare housing, here. So many youths that live in the subsidized housing get in trouble, join gangs, prey on inhabitants of the projects, tear up the housing, etc. They have free housing, help with the utilities, food stamps, medicaid for health ins, or some other state/fed program (like SCHIPS). If the families were required to work in order to receive; if they could get help only for a limited time--would things be different? I think they would.

My husband is in late seventies and he had the proverbial farmboy upbringing-had to milk the cows before school. Walked to a country school, carrying a leftover biscuit and, hopefully a piece of bacon for lunch. In HS could not play sports because he had chores. Turned out to be a good, hardworking, responsible man.Our kids, now from 45 to 52, had responsibilities at home or they didn't get their allowance. They griped, but all learned how to work. It is a good character builder.

Too many free handouts make lazy, gimme characters, and the Dems are busy inventing more<.p>vaudine

Lack of a father, who is not needed to provide for the physical needs of the mother and children seems to be a big factor as well.

Even if the father is present, which is probably the case with these French Muzzies, if he's not the provider, and is not respected by the mother and children, because they don't see him *doing* anything, also contributes to the "Rage".

And then when that rage is directed by a Mad Mullah at the local Mosque, you get this sort of thing, or worse.
