“Listen, I know this is not popular with many of you contrarians but we were in the wrong. The loss of life we suffered was awful but it was a US Naval vessel operating under a liberal president who was up to no good with regards to the Israelis.”

The US was up to no good collecting data on and disseminating it to the Arabs engaged in war against the Israelis?

Or what was the “no good” to the Israelis the US was doing. Other than funneling billions of dollars of aid?

This pilot’s official version does not pass the smell test. And his comment about being in the area is quite telling.

It’s that arrogance thing at the end. Says more in that sentence than the whole “official story” of the attack.

He’s basically saying, you had no business being there so you got what you had coming.

That rings of the truth. The rest of the story doesn’t.

A “Battle Flag unfurled” on a ship moving Slowly with No wind, Bristling with antennas.. in the Heat of battle?

The day before the Liberty Israel straffed one of it’s own Tank Columns near Jenin.

“”””American Sailors are Fools and Liars?

I can only conclude at this point you are an agent provocateur because no Israeli could be this stupid, blind or insensitive as to post the above drivel””””

American Sailors are not fools and Liars. They do however carry this UNproveable torch too far- enabled by those against the Israeli state and, well.. Jews.

But AS I SAID ABOVE- what they THINK is solely that. They Could NOT and Did NOT know what/who the Israelis thought they were.
GOT IT?
This “I was an intentional victim” is quote common in Friendly Fire incidents...
and alos as I said above..
ALL US Ships were thought to be well OUT of the area and should have been.

The Liberty BLEW a Radio communication telling it do do so.
No one was expecting them to be there. Period.
Perhaps another reason to want to Blame someone else.

You are left the agent provocateur by your Empty knowledgeLESS response.

His arrogance/ego is precisely what DOES pass the smell test. He’s completely candid - an ego bigger than discretion.
AS does his refusal to fly any more missions ON PRINCIPLE/ a refusenik.

Also to note for you BEGINNERS the plane was on an air-to-air run and did NOT have Bombs.. as it Would have had if an attack on Liberty was planned.

They were still in captivity when the Israelis attacked the Liberty.

Wrong. The Pueblo incident didn't happen until several months after the Liberty.

The flag was thought to be limp per the Naval inquiry. As abu afak notes, it was known there were no American ships within 100 miles of the war zone. Israel’s rules of engagement were liberal, any ships near shore were to be considered hostile and attacked. In keeping with this, the pilot notes that in making several passes, he was looking for the white cross indicating the ship was Israeli, not the same as trying to establish an identification. An unnecessary identification since there were no American ships in the area and the ship was considered hostile per the ROE. As abu afak also notes, the attack was carried out by air/air and air/ground munitions from planes diverted from other missions. Not what you’d use to sink a ship. In the absence of any credible reason Israel, in a fight for their survival, would attack an American ship, I’d assume it was a friendly fire incident. And the oft cited rationale that the US was transmitting intelligence to Syria and Lebanon doesn’t strike me as credible. And if were, it would come as no surprise to either country that Israel would be confronting them after Egypt was defeated in detail.

Abu Afak,
I have given you ample time to express remorse for the Israeli Injury and Killing of American Servicemen and the Attack on an American Ship. You have not..

Your postings have run from

It is our fault (Americans Fault) That Israeli Pilots Killed Americans.

To Calling the Americans Sailors killed Fools the Survivors Liars and Fools.

“They must understand that a mistake was made here,” Spector said. “The fool is one who wanders about in the dark in dangerous places, so they should not come with any complaints.

Your Arrogance, Ignorance and Ingratitude to the American People for their sacrifices of both fortune and lives defending Jews and Israel is palpable..

I cannot accept your words and attitude are representative of the Israeli People.

We defend you because Christ would have us do so.

We rail against the brutal and senseless murder of your children by Islamofacist Madmen. We defend Israel in the United Nations.

All while we are forced to defend ourselves against Anti-American Liberal Jewish Sacks here in the United States
while we never hear a condemnation of them from Israel.

Still our sons and daughters lose their lives trying to protect the Jewish Homeland...

Your words, more importantly your arrogant smirking attitude here has done nothing to justify the sacrifice.

W

And on April 10, 2007 Bill Richardson let himself be used as a propaganda tool by the North Koreans by touring the ship, which is still a commissioned vessel on active duty in the USN. I wrote to my Congressmen about this fiasco. It shows what kind of judgment Richardson has. Diplomat my ass.

And I have Given you Ample FACTS to conclude, as 10+ Congressional probes have, that the Liberty was an Accidental/Friendly Fire Incident.

I did NOT Call American soldiers “Fools” Nor “Liars”.
I called their testimony Understandable but “irrelevant” as they could NOT know who the Israelis Thought they were. THE issue.

You’re impugning my pattiotism IN LIEU of being able to debate issues is a Reprehensible tactic.

“””We defend you because Christ would have us do so.”””

One would hope you would have other reasons/principles srael as well.

And you are not “Defending Me”. I am an AMERICAN; an America-First American.
Never been anything but.
Never even been to Israel.

I resent your low-life tactics of assuming who I am just because I argue the TRUTH and Rightness of the issue, while you parrot the nonsense of these Israel and Jew haters.

I’ve been shooting down this perennial dead horse for years- even before the NSA released radio communications 3 years ago -ending - one would think- this Jew-Haters wedge- forever.

But on it goes- promoted by the Worst in our society and bought by those so inclined— like YOU.

"Israel apologized and paid reparations to survivors and family members of the dead and made a payment to the U.S. government for the loss of the ship." Case closed.

How was the apology worded? Do you have a copy that can be shared?

“His arrogance/ego is precisely what DOES pass the smell test. He’s completely candid - an ego bigger than discretion.

In the warfare of that situation, the Israelis may not have had extra bombs for that mission as their intent was to cripple the Liberty’s capabilities not sink it and cause an international incident.

Not bombing the vessel gave them some plausible deniability later.

What’s telling is his justification at the end that the Liberty had it coming for being there. That’s the Israeli snootiness we’re all familiar with overall.

Like the other poster, I support Israel, but I will not dismiss the attack on the Liberty as accidental. Based on the known information of the US servicemen, there’s no reason to believer otherwise.

Of course if you have some basis centered on faith with a need to believe this was an accident, that I can understand. But I must disagree.

Israel makes lots of errors taking things too far when it comes to its biggest ally and it’s about time they start acting like it. Admitting the error of this would be appropriate and is long overdue.

Let’s just keep Pollard locked up. As a warning to them that we don’t forgive their bad mistakes.

“””In the warfare of that situation, the Israelis may not have had extra bombs for that mission as their intent was to cripple the Liberty’s capabilities not sink it and cause an international incident.”””””

WRONG. they were diverted from Other missions- NOT knowing whose ship it was-— as is clear from this pilot and NSA released communications. This pilot is clearly a candid guy- not close to the vest.

“””That’s the Israeli snootiness we’re all familiar with overall.””””

That’s what’s called substitution.
When Anti-semites just plug in adjectives traditionally associated with ‘Jew’ and then just use ‘Zionist’ or ‘Israeli’.

“””but I will not dismiss the attack on the Liberty as accidental. Based on the known information of the US servicemen, there’s no reason to believer otherwise.””””

Alas, and as I’ve said many times, US servicemen Could NOT know if the Israelis knew they were Americans or Egyptians etc.
So there testimony is fairly irrelevant.
Reperat for the 8th Time. They could not and Did NOT know what was in thge mind of their attackers.
Many friendly fire victims feel the same.

“”””Israel makes lots of errors taking things too far when it comes to its biggest ally and it’s about time they start acting like it.””””

Isael Did/does Indeed make errors, like strafing it’s own Tank Column near Jenin the day before and mistakenly shooting at the libert which it couldn’t Identify, but knew wwasn’t Israeli- and since no US ships were in the area (as the USA and Isreal knew), it saw it was a military ship and attacked.
But It did apologize for that error.. NOT make an intentional attack on a US ship.

Abu, please take you anti-semite rant and attach to someone else or insert wherever.

How many hours and wing tipping does it take the IAF to know that a ship is no threat and perhaps American flying the colors?

I will not be declared an anti-semite by placing value on the numerous on scene witnesses who saw the whole thing go down over the course of hours leading into the attack.

That means you. I take the word of the American servicemen over you.

Have they apologized for spying on their billion dollar benefactors with Jonathan Pollard or are they negating that apology by trying to get their beloved spy released?

Having Lost the Liberty Argument now Utterly (and been outed)— Romanesq drags in ‘Pollard’.

I do not condone Pollard-— may he Rot in Jail.
But let’s not be naive in that even allies spy on each other habitually.

Do ring me back here or at abu_afak2@yahoo.com if you come up with any more ‘Jew Dirt’.
