I'm a Christian, and I intend to vote for Thompson. I have worked in the church, and in various Christian industries for 13 years now, and I don't know
anyone who receives their marching orders from Dobson (or Falwell, for that matter.) The assumption that Christians are sheeple to these "shepherds" is absolutely false. Sure their input is interesting, but it isn't the deciding factor.
I think Dobson was WAY off base on this one. Also, I read that Thompson is a member of the Church of Christ, FWIW.
Well, Falwell is dead, so I can see why you’re not following his lead. I’m also not going to parrott Dobson’s line, but there is no question that if they field a “Christian” candidate, it will make it easier for Hillary to win. She may do so anyway, though.
