Yes, Jesus does say that. He also said, concerning the fig tree that did not bear fruit, that you will be able to judge people by their actions. The two statements seem to contradict each other but I look at it this way. Jesus is not saying we can never judge another. He is saying be careful how you judge people because you will be judged the same way. If we follow the strict interpretation of never judging anyone, how in the hell can you raise your child? How can you tell your child to not do something or to stay away from someone? Hell, the strict interpretation is nothing but the belief of multiculturism today.
I was specifically referring to a man judging another man’s salvation. Mr. Dobson is in no position to say that about Fred Thompson - Thompson has done nothing to deserve that kind of proclamation. Dobson was way out of place - I used to respect the man - now I have a lot less respect for him.
I don’t think telling a child that what he is doing is wrong - is “judging” him. I do think telling a satin worshipper that he is going to hell is judging, but anyone with half a mind could figure that one out. Some sins are as plain as day - others are hidden in the dark recesses of one’s heart. It’s not for me or anyone else to say what’s there, only the Lord knows that - not Dobson.
