Sorry if you misunderstood me, how am I like the liberals with Bush Bashing? I am just the opposite of the liberals saying he isn't comdemning them enough. They should be seriously worried about their standing with the administration especially the senators that opposed this.
"I was disappointed that not more leaders in the Democrat Party spoke out strongly against that kind of ad,"
to me this sounds weak. He should be talking a little more forceful as the Democrats have to be laughing if they think this is the best scolding the President of the United States can give them after a disgusting display of traitorism
Mr. Bush added: "That was a sorry deal. It's one thing to attack me; it's another thing to attack somebody like General Petraeus."
Again does this seem like a forceful rebuke or like he was mildly irritated? I remember my 5th grade gym teacher get pissed more than this and it was for someone chewing gum...
I can't wait till Fred Thompson is leading this country, no BS and not afraid to put these liberals in their place.
Lastly, the only thing I would say you are half correct about the similar tone with liberals but for different reasons. I'm sour on him for not being tougher on the liberals and not being conservative enough. They just have this irrational hatred, because they are liberals.

Someone's uncovered a second Romney spokesperson back from last week saying pretty much the same thing as #21 to a different publication [emphasis mine]
Rushs comments were unfortunate. People should be free to express their opinion and no one has earned the right to express that opinion more than these soldiers, said Eric Fehrnstrom, spokesman for ex-Bay State governor and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

I don’t take kindly to people lying about me....and I left my emotions at the Benning School for Boys.
You should start up a flaming-lib website with your lying tactics.

The 1st Amendment is what this whole fiasco is about.
People can say whatever they believe. Others can interpret what they say however they want. But the final translation is UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL rather than a few wimpy Democrats or their MSM partners of the left.
Any candidate who does not uphold free speech, no matter who it riles up, is not worthy of a presidency!! This finger pointing, blame game using the troops as a background is exactly where the left wants the focus.
The twisting of words is propaganda at it’s best. And middle America appears to be taking the bait at the expense of A. The Troops. B. The 1st Amendment C. Political discussion.

Any sort of link to that?

Ok...found it in the
Boston Herald.
The firestorm over Rush Limbaughs phony soldiers remark heated up yesterday - with the conservative blowhard taking a hit from both political parties after he slighted servicemen who oppose the war in Iraq.
Rushs comments were unfortunate. People should be free to express their opinion and no one has earned the right to express that opinion more than these soldiers, said Eric Fehrnstrom, spokesman for ex-Bay State governor and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

So this isn’t just a matter of “one spokesman (Madden) didn’t get the straight story or Mitt’s true view on this before relaying it to Huffington”. That Madden generally spoke out of turn. That is an argument that some of Mitt’s supporters are using.
Sorry about answering my own question. I felt kind of lazy for asking you about it. So I went and dug it up.

So this isnt just a matter of one spokesman (Madden) didnt get the straight story or Mitts true view on this before relaying it to Huffington. That Madden generally spoke out of turn. That is an argument that some of Mitts supporters are using. The Mittwits have been grasping at straws and playing a game of denial over this. This major screw-up along with weak fundraising/cash-on-hand numbers looks like a really, really bad week for them.

Seriously-you don’t think this story is important? Forget that it involves Rush, whom you apparently despise.
