What issue did 9/11 change his mind about? That's absurd. 9/11 had nothing to do with illegals, gun control, the homosexual agenda, government spending, McCain-Feingold, affirmative action or a host of other issues that he has taken liberal stances on. And, he is still rabidly in favor of abortion rights so 9/11 didn't change his mind on that, either.
9/11 is Rudy and his followers get-out-of-jail-free card for everything. The WOT is not the only issue.
No, it's not...but it IS the #1 issue for anyone with half a brain since if we don't win it none of the others will matter as we will not have our country anymore...it will be taken over by the islamofascists and they'll put their flag over the White House. If you don't believe that this is their goal then you need to start doing some homework.
And as far as abortion rights go - as we know the only say a president really has with that is the appointment of justices to the SCOTUS. Rudy has already said he would appoint justices like Scalia, Thomas and Roberts given the opportunity. It's up to the SCOTUS to overturn Roe v. Wade (which would just send the issue back to individual states). Either way - as I said before, Fred Thompson is my #1 choice right now but I will vote for Rudy any day of the week before a Commie like Hilary or that lunatic Ron Paul (who sounds too much like those code pinko women for my taste).
