The Americans won the battle of New Orleans but it was fought *after* the peace treaty was signed

I don't think the cell phone towers had coverage for that area back then :0)

Interesting thing about that treaty is that the limits to naval power on the Great Lakes are still in effect today. There have been occasions where goodwill visits by the Canadian and American navies to cities on the lakes required the permission of the other country even if the ships remained on their own side of the border.
