[Eagles Talon IV]

I wish I could have been in a field such as yours. When I enlisted they asked us for three career choices and three overseas requests along with 3 Stateside ones. I chose ATC (air traffic control), Supply (seemed easy) and Refueling because my buddy who joined with me requested that one 1st. Then I chose Japan, Germany and France as the foreign assignments and Edwards, McGuire (I lived in NJ) and Otis on Cape Cod.

So I wind up in the Air Police stationed in the UK. Go figure. Turned out well though, had a great time, there was peace (got a bit touchy when Kennedy was assassinated)and London was friggin GREAT!!

My buddy is doing a huge project for the USAF. He is computerizing the “dream Sheets” and making it more streamline. He told them my story, I wanted to go overseas to Asia (Japan, Korea, Thailand whatever) or Italy, UK, germany.
if I stayed in the states, I wanted east coast. I did not want to stay in Texas. I got Texas.

They loved it. Thought it was a great story and they promised if I reenlisted, this time, they would let me go to Asia!
