he left many audience members with a sense that he may call President George W. Bush as a witness should the lawsuit proceed to trial (and Rather said he hoped it would). Fabulous news! Rather is baiting the president and daring him to prosecute the production and use of fraudulent Air National Guard documents. Maybe now GWB will get a clue, declassify any and all 35 yo TANG memos, and prove that in the early 1970s TANG had no machine remotely capable of making documents indistinguishable from documents produced by Microsoft Word operating at its default settings.
And send Dan Rather to Leavenworth. We can dream, can't we?
