my local Greek diner
Without even looking in the restaurant section of the phonebook I can pretty much tell you that we don't have one of those around these parts. About as foreign as we get is when Betty from Aunt Claire's Kuntry Kitchen goes of on a tangent and puts paprika in the mashed potatoes.
Oh, there is a livestock feed store in the back. Ms Claire runs it too.

I stand corrected. The wife just told me that they are all talking about a chinese restaurant that opened just last week. I’ll have to try it out....

They don’t advertise themselves as Greek, usually, but they have been a phenomenon around here since the fifties. They have a few Greek specialties but mostly have a big menu of American diner food.
