K, I thought your hotel was close by! Was that "Albe " or "Alba" (the latter being the Gaelic name for Scotland)?

In any event, I have a pleasant memory of a lunch with LoM and my Japanese friend/colleague a short block away at an outdoor restaurant on the southeast corner of the Quai de Montebello and the bridge to Notre Dame.

Its the Hotel D’Albe. Was the cafe the St. Severin? Nice part of the city isn’t it!
