Hot, dry, and windy here. With all the fires, there's a layer of ash on everything. I had to put a towel at the base of my front door to keep the ash from blowing in (my door faces mecca East and the Santa Anas blow west). And I am once again reminded what slobs many apartment dwellers are...all the trash in the alleys across the street from my house is now in my front yard and entry way.

At least the wifey can't complain about my cigars....everything smells like smoke.

I remember being in El Toro when the Santa Ana’s burned Laguna Hills. We could see the fire along the hills to the SouthWest from base.
