Good luck on your mission, ‘dog. Give ‘em our highest regards.
When you get back, take a moment for some levity, here:

I picked up the link at a month-old thread on Chirstmas, and now I can’t stop laughing. I’ll never be able to watch “It’s Christmas, Charlie Brown” with a straight face, again.

Good afternoon!
Busy day with catz here, about to go to Wal-mart, our home away from home, for more poster board, wine, and pretzels.

"I looked everybody in the eye and said, 'You guys understand what's going on here, right?' And I knew everybody heard me, but nobody said anything. They just kept doing their jobs," he said. May God abundantly bless the heroes of our military. These folks are simply amazing.

Thanks! The wine and pretzels will help :-).
We have to be up early for the neighborhood yard sale tomorrow. Anoreth will be selling some of the “magic wands” she’s made, and I’ll be recruiting for the Republican precinct committee. I’m hoping to find a take-charge type who would like to be precinct chairman instead of me :-).

It threatened hard, but no rain. It was so cold on the ride I was almost wishing I had worn my full leather jacket. Turned out nice though. The clouds blew over and it’s now a gorgeous clear blue sky, temps in the low 70s. Feels almost like it did rain, only it didn’t.
Now I need some coffee...

What got me rally laughing was at the very end, when God speaks, and they made him speak “blah-blah” like all the adults in Charlie Brown’s world. When I heard that... Well, let’s just say I’m glad it was still early and the office was only sparsely populated.
Glad you liked it; I try to deliver the best.

Yes, we can. Wine and beer, although we don’t usually get beer. Distilled liquor has to be purchased from state alcohol stores.
In Oklahoma, you had to get wine at liquor stores, but not beer. Different states make laws based on the alcohol content.

Hi all. A much busier day than I had anticipated, but now I am ready to go home and
collapse pack.
I was surprised to learn that one can now print at home boarding passes for international trips.

All these laws, and no one area is better off than any other.
In Ontario, we can buy almost any kind of beer, and some wine coolers at The Beer Store (tm), or we can take a trip to the LCBO (tm) (The short form for Liquor Control Board of Ontario) to buy hard liquor, wines, and some beers.
The LCBO has marble floors that we get to pay for every time we make a purchase. That, and the unionized wages to the, um, staff.
Oh my. I forgot to mention the taxes. LOL.
$12.50 for a 6 pack of Coors Light in cans.
The least expensive bottle of decent red wine is $14

If there's a special vendor promotion, we sometimes get a six-pack of beer for $2. I can get an adequate red wine at Wal-mart for $4.00 and a good one for $7.
