Yeh,as I was reading this I was thinking....”John Kerry got a Purple Heart, didn’t he?”For getting his butt splashed with flying rice, as I remember.

Are you trying to say that John Kerry was in Vietnam??

It is wonderful that you discovered this so early!

Perhaps many people have this syndrome, but no one catches it.

Your first anniversary must be coming up soon, non?

:-) Congratulations!

How do you manage to get up so early every day?

Baby insists on it! He’s kicking around by 6:00 Eastern, usually. If you’re in central or mountain, then I’m not really up very early :-).

Vlad wakes you up at 6?

I’m on EST too, and I usually get up at 7 ish.

I guess 6 isn’t too bad at his age.
Young kids are always happy to wake up in the morning.
:-)

No, no, not another baby! Except for the kitten, and she seems to sleep downstairs.

Our coffeepot goes off at six and beeps a few times, and James usually needs to go to the bathroom, and Vlad wakes up as soon as anyone else is moving around.

It takes so long for everyone to get a turn in the bathroom that we have to start early!

50F and falling -- I just cranked the heat up to 62F inside.

It's also VERY dark outside and I just heard a bit of rumbling. Couldn't see it but lighting was causing static on the car radio on the way home. Maybe we'll get us a nice thunderstorm.

Hiya, Kids!

One of my brothers came to town today, so I had to play hostess. Now I’m really nauseous, so I thought some conversation with FRiends would help me to forget about the way my stomach feels. Maybe.

Hey, 'Face!

I was wondering where you'd been today. How are things?

It's getting interesting here. My Egypt trip was approved yesterday, and I booked my flight this morning. Leave Seattle early morning, arrive in JFK later afternoon. (Haven't been in JFK in over a quarter-century!) A couple of hours later, early evening, I board a non-stop to Cairo arriving noon local time. Not as grueling as India, but it's going to be WAY too many hours in an airline seat.

I was here for a bit this morning, but I had errands to run, and soon after I got back my brother and his wife got here, then we went to lunch. (Just what I needed...)

They want me to go with them to see the Dancing Fountains at Bellagio, and the Fremont Street Experience, but I don’t do so well at night. I’ll wait and see. My SIL wasn’t feeling well when they got here, and looked pretty puny during lunch, so I’ll wait to see what happens.

*ick*

None of the above. I had French onion soup (at Marie Callender’s) with garlic bread for lunch, thinking it would help, but...

Thanks for the suggestions, though... *hug*
