I think the number is probably closer to 65, but you’ve got a point. Add to that the dissatisfaction the conservatives had with the GOP in ‘06 and the scandal after scandal the Left perpetrated to get elected (Ted Haggard, Rush Limbaugh and the Michael J Fox thing, Tom DeLay— they went everywhere)... there is huge opportunity for bounce-back this year. The Democrats are blowing it and losing whatever support they had coming into the year.

There was a report on I think FOX regarding the vacated Meehan seat in MA. It seems that the libs thought this was an absolute lock and a poll taken up there recently had the Republican contender, Ogonowski, trailing, but by only 10 points. When you consider this is MA, this is indeed newsworthy.
