Fathers are supposed to protect their daughters

That's what's at issue here.

The defenders of young Romeo here don't believe that.

We have moved too far away from lay law enforcement.

In a healthy society, fathers take care of this stuff - not always, and not always well, but they are part of the picture.

The opinion leaders of our society are trying to write fathers out of the picture, for purposes of their own - and those purposes ain't good.

I do believe fathers should protect their daughters. I don’t think what he did protected her. It put her in the news, it brought him up on felony charges. That isn’t being very protective in my book.

A heard a speaker once talk about the nature of men. He basically said that men can be either predators or protectors.

In this case the 17-year-old was the predator, and the father was the protctor.
