I'm telling you, we had a woman sentenced to a year in prison, not probation, for the misdemeanor of trespassing on a bus and contributing to the delinquency of a minor for encouraging her daughter to beat up another girl who had slapped her previously. There were no injuries. This guy committed a felony. A minor had stitches.

You just don't know how a court or jury is going to rule. I wouldn't want my family's security to ride on it.

Anyhow, depending on the facts of the case, I probably would not vote to convict the father. There is still a lot unknown here.

Some minors are just minors.

Then there was the 17 year old crack dealer up the street who knew every vile trick in the book. He was mean as hell and threatened women and others in the neighborhood.

The word minor is like the designation white person or black person. There is a world of difference among blacks or whites. So also there is a world of difference among minors.
