What the father did was wrong and he certainly knew full well there was a price to pay for it. I might have done the same thing but I wouldn’t have gone to the school to do it. The question is would the authorities even look into the sex case if the father hadn’t gone to the school and made it a public action.

Probably not, unless the father really pushed for it. If it were my precious daughter, I'd be furious, too. I'd probably fantasize about putting a bullet through his privates or having my husband beat him within an inch of his life. But I wouldn't assault the kid.

Why? First, he's a minor. I'm not. They may be lenient with him due to his age, but I won't have that excuse. I wouldn't want my children to be without a father or mother while we were in prison for failing to curb our impulses.

Second, my daughter's 10, and she already knows right from wrong. This was a 15 year old. She wasn't being coerced by an adult. She was with a boy only two years older. I don't think you can lay all the blame at his feet. If she were my daughter, we'd have a lot of talking to do.
