Well, I think it was an event of campaign supporters—they’d cheer at most anything (even Hillary! —just kidding!)
I just watched today’s video again. I think the theory of that not being his wife is a good one. His facial expressions are priceless. I truly believe it was an aide telling him he screwed up. His jokes were simply stall tactics to try to figure out how to recover.
